COP 26 - An Emergency London Gathering

COP26 - An Emergency London Gathering

When: THIS Friday, 12 November, 6-8pm

Where: RoundHouse, Chalk Farm Rd, London NW1 8EH

Tickets: Free

What is Happening?

Indigenous people and voices from the Global South were excluded from the COP 26 table. Why?

Why was the fossil fuel industry the largest delegation at COP26?

Would you let arms dealers run peace talks?

As COP26 draws to a close, Complicité, People's Palace Projects and IFAX (Indigenous Association of Upper Xingu) are calling an emergency gathering in response.

We are in a moment of crisis. Inaction is not an option. We will join together to share our reflections from COP, hear from indigenous people who did not have a seat at the negotiation table in Glasgow, and ask what activists and artists can do next?

With Takumã Kuikuro, Simon McBurney, Fehinti Balogun, Yamalui Kuikuro, Shirley Krenak, Sarah Shenker, Raull Santiago, Paul Heritage, and more to be announced. Hosted by Conrad Murray.

Funded by Complicité, People's Palace Projects & Queen Mary University of London and supported by Survival International, Five Fifty Five and The Roundhouse.

Donation Appeal - People’s Palace Projects, Indigenous Fire Bridage
